Gadzooks! We sold out all three of our Grand Illusion screenings! Over 50 people without tickets showed up to our last show and waited for an hour to make an attempt at getting a seat! If you weren’t able to get in, have no fear! We have a weeklong screening run scheduled at Central Cinema 10/6-10/11 every day at 4pm and 7pm. Fantasy A and crew will be present at all 7pm screenings!

We’re excited to be the opening film for Northwest Film Forum’s Local Sightings Film Festival next week, as well as the Tacoma Film Festival this October!

Today we met at the KUOW studio with Arts & Culture Reporter Mike Davis for a discussion about Fantasy A Gets a Mattress! We talked about the film’s incredible reception thus far at film festivals, its record breaking twenty sold-out screenings at The Beacon Cinema, its unprecedented success with the public, as well as our upcoming screening runs and plans for the future.

The Tacoma Film Festival opening night, on Thursday, October 5, will feature the first Tacoma screening of Fantasy A Gets a Mattress. Our team will in attendance for a post screening Q&A and are preparing a fun performance with Fantasy A to open the night!

We started screening at The Beacon Cinema in June and have now sold out 18 shows! We have added two more screenings, extending our run into September. This unprecedented sold-out screening run has set The Beacon’s record; we have beat the record for sold-out screenings set by Uncut Gems!

We have been accepted into the Silent City Film Festival in Ithaca, New York! Hooray! The Silent City Film Festival will be held on October 5-8, 2023. We are so excited to be screening there and to have our first out-of-state film festival acceptance! The word is spreading… Fantasy A Gets a Mattress is where it’s at!
