Providing music for the second time to Dr. Clean Productions is Brian Noyes 🎹✨ — a Seattle-based musician and the frontman of the baroque pop group Tomten 🎻🌙. Brian composed music for the original soundtrack of Fantasy A Gets a Mattress 🎶🛏️ and is now contributing new compositions to the soundtrack of CRYSTAL BALL! 🔮🎥 — including the smash song “Moon Kiss” 🌕💋.

DAY 65 of filming CRYSTAL BALL! 🔮✨ Fantasy A is the KING of dramatic acting! 👑 Check out this behind the scenes shot of Fantasy A about to deliver his spine-chilling monologue, spoken to an old gravestone in a cemetery right on a major freeway. 🪦🙏 After an opening sequence of ecstatic nightlife, we find Fantasy A as Ernie the Building Superintendent 🛠️, taking us into emotional territory unlike any place in Dr. Clean Productions history! 💾

When you pray... you are graced with an angel. 👼🔮 CRYSTAL BALL! has a cast of hundreds, but no role was harder to cast than the former cult leader, BRUCE POWERS. A very particular charm, wit, and danger was necessary to capture this character and it was found... in a single TikTok video. We first saw landscaper and rock stacker DAVE BENHAM in a TikTok video for the infamous Dotz Show, where he makes an appearance scolding someone at Amazon Fresh for eating unpurchased grapes. 🍇 We instantly fell in love. After one brief phone call, Dave jumped in head first into a major film role, never having acted before. The results are electric. ⚡️ You will laugh, cry, and fear for your soul when you see DAVE... as BRUCE! 🔥

Dreams do come true! ✨🎬 The other night the CRYSTAL BALL! team captured one of our favorite scripted scenes: the creation of a 1990’s public access television show featuring a small cult espousing the virtues of their leader. 📺🔮 This was an intimate shoot with more leather on display than in a cow pasture. 🐄🖤

Deep in the bowels of the Georgetown Steam Plant, 🏭 Dr. Clean Productions worked on one of the most mind-bending scenes in recent movie history 🧠✨—a journey into the mind of Fantasy A’s latest screen persona, Ernie the building superintendent. 🔧

Ernie is taciturn, yet he may have the most expansive inner life of any character in our latest film, CRYSTAL BALL! 🔮

Yes! We’re on track to have more shooting days than the production of Kill Bill, Jaws, and Eyes Wide Shut (just kidding on that last one!). We are putting in the time and attention to detail for CRYSTAL BALL! in order to deliver something unlike anything you’ve seen before: a mystical ride of musical phantasmagoria! Big shout out to our actors portraying City Light workers—who danced, screamed, and were perfect in all their rugged rakishness. ⚡️

Arnold the pug is making his feature film debut as RAVIOLI in CRYSTAL BALL!

This production has many dogs gracing the screen, but ARNOLD is the Mads Mikkelsen of canine actors — low-key yet silently radiating emotional heft . When filmmakers talk about great dog actors, you can hear their delight — because they are talking about talent like Arnold, a true pro.

Think we are being hyperbolic? Wait till you see his cataract-filled eyes on the big screen …you’ll enter pools of knowledge.

Grounding the surreal proceedings around him, Ernie takes his dark world at face value, but that doesn’t stop him from having a bizarre and dreamy inner life 🌙📖. During his breaks from fixing pipes and tending to the apartment building, Ernie is writing an off-the-wall novel. If there’s anything Ernie wants, it’s order in a crazy world… ⚙️✨

We’ve been pretty underground on social media the last few months 🌒 but only because we’ve been filming nonstop on CRYSTAL BALL! 💎 We’ve filmed over 100 days — something usually reserved for multimillion-dollar productions 💰🎥

Concentrated energy! Our quick shoot outside the Deja Vu strip club last night for CRYSTAL BALL! was a blast! Reports were that there was not a single girl on stage last night—the real excitement was happening out front as nine ecstatic actors whooped, jumped, and plowed into one another for part of CRYSTAL BALL!’s ever-expanding, frenetic intro sequence—sure to be one of the most grabbing and wild openings to a film in a looooooong time! Huge shout out to our performers, who shot out pure energy!

The inimitable Tiny Vipers has joined the cast of CRYSTAL BALL!. Known for her stark, emotionally raw songwriting and otherworldly presence, Tiny Vipers brings her singular voice to the role of Urthona, the film’s most tragic figure—a solitary dog walker and former cult member struggling to rebuild her life, only to discover her new apartment building houses her ex–cult leader.

A maximalist, expressionistic epic, CRYSTAL BALL! will be punctuated by Tiny Vipers’ harrowing performance, which has already drawn comparisons to Renée Jeanne Falconetti in The Passion of Joan of Arc. This is a casting that feels less like a choice and more like a cosmic commandment.

SOLD OUT! Fantasy A Gets a Mattress SOLD OUT at SIFF Uptown last Friday night! Movies, magazines, Bigfoot, and inflatable balloon people! We had it all!

Fans were greeted by an army of Dotz (courtesy of our co-presenters, the fabulous Dotz Show) who then entertained the crowd with not one, but two musical performances: first a romantic ode to Fantasy A sung by the elegant and lovely Yellow Dot, then “Seatown Love” performed by Fantasy A himself—The Dotz, Bigfoot, and Mantis Man bouncin’ up a storm as back-up dancers.

We’re back! 🎉 Fantasy A Gets a Mattress 🛏️ returns to Seattle with our most exciting screening yet at SIFF Uptown on February 21st at 7:00pm! All ticket proceeds go towards the budget of our next film—CRYSTAL BALL! 🔮🎬
